Great Night For Ibstock United at the Leicestershire & Rutland County FA Charter Standard Awards Night For The Second Year Running

Ibstock United are celebrating after a very successful night at the Leicestershire & Rutland County FA Charter Standard Awards Night held on Wednesday 29th June at Holmes Park.

The club and individuals from the club were nominated in a total of five catagories on the night and came out on top in four of the five.

Young Volunteer of the Year: Kirsty Marriott

Coach of the Year: Peter Harris

Charter Standard Community Club of the Year: Ibstock United FC

Inclusive League Fair Play Award: Ibstock United FC

On top of this the club also won East Midlands Regional Charter Standard Community Club of the Year.

All of the awards are in recognition of all the hard work that individuals, volunteers, coaches, managers and officers of the club have done and continue to do to make Ibstock United Football Club a fun and enjoyable place to learn, play and coach football to children of all ages and abilities. 

Wednesday night's success exceeded last years when volunteers from the club and the club won:

Young Volunteer of the Year: Tom Hunt

Regional Young Volunteer of the Year: Tom Hunt

Volunteer of the Year: Linda Harris

Charter Standard Community Club of the Year: Ibstock United FC
